Sunday, August 5th, 2012 | Book Pimpage, Six Sentence Sunday, Writing

This week my contribution to Six Sentence Sunday is the 3rd short in my Beach House Night Series that I will be publishing in the next few weeks. It’s going out to my editor by the end of the week and she usually gives me a really quick turn-around so hopefully, I’ll have it up at the usual places by the end of next week. This one is called Up All Night and it’s Ian and Stella’s story. Ian is a really great guy, however, Stella thinks he’s a millionaire playboy with no substance. She is soooo wrong about him. I really had fun writing this story. I hope you like the six I chose.

Did you miss me?” His voice came from behind her.

She jolted and sat up straight, pushing her eye-glasses back onto her nose. “Actually, you took too long.” She made a move to stand up. “I really need to get back to the house.”

Ian grabbed her by the waist and wouldn’t let her stand, pulling her into his lap against his lean muscled body. Her stomach began to jitterbug. She twisted, placed her hands against his chest and almost melted. “Um…I was perfectly fine where I was sitting.”

A slow smile spread over his face. “But I like you much better right here.”

Don’t forget to visit the other authors participating in Six Sentence Sunday. I hope you have a great rest of the weekend.

Peace, love and sex!

“A slow smile spread over his face.” And I realized that at the same time I was reading that line, a slow smile was spreading across my face. Looks like things are about to heat up. Nice six. :-)

Loved...loved...loved. Now...since she's finally dealt with the demons of both her parents...if she'd only get pregnant!!! I would really love to see how she combines being the bad-a@@-cop she is with motherhood.

This was my first Patricia Cornwell novel and I really enjoyed. Her relationship with her niece was great. Great story and plot. Can't wait to read the next one.

So awesome to be in Percy's head again! Once again Rick Riordan took me away to the awesome world of Roman/Greek mythology via his demigods. Instead of Camp Halfblood...in this book we visit the counterpart Roman camp, Camp Jupiter. In t...
