Friday, August 3rd, 2012 | Day Job, Personal, School

If you want to grow and succeed, things must change. You must not remain stagnate.

That’s what my life has been about this week. Most of you know that in my day profession, I’m a library media specialist (school librarian). I’m back at work this week in a new building, new principal, new students, new grade level.

I welcome the change! In fact…I’m ecstatic!!! I’m really excited to see what this new school year will become. Our entire school district is about change in the next few years and I’m curious to see how this change will come about.  And, my oldest is entering high school this year! I know she’s nervous but I think she’ll do just fine. Unlike my middle daughter, she makes friends easily and can adapt to different situations.

So, wish me luck! I’ll probably blog about the first day of school (Aug. 20) and let you know how it goes.

Now…on to writerly change! Is that a word? writerly? Well if it’s not, it is now. I welcomed some change in my writing life this year as well. I self published a couple of erotic romance titles (Beach House Nights series) and plan to publish the next and last two in that series in the upcoming months. I’ve also started a new series – plotting and writing a new pure erotic menage series that I plan to self-publish as well.

However, I’m really excited to announce that I plan to start writing a cozy mystery series and a romantic suspense series as well (no erotica included).  Don’t worry, I still have some erotic romance and a follow up to my phoenix paranormal on the burner as well.

Wish my fingers well with that!

How do you feel about change, personally and professionally? Do you welcome it? Hate it?

Peace, love and sex!

Loved...loved...loved. Now...since she's finally dealt with the demons of both her parents...if she'd only get pregnant!!! I would really love to see how she combines being the bad-a@@-cop she is with motherhood.

This was my first Patricia Cornwell novel and I really enjoyed. Her relationship with her niece was great. Great story and plot. Can't wait to read the next one.

So awesome to be in Percy's head again! Once again Rick Riordan took me away to the awesome world of Roman/Greek mythology via his demigods. Instead of Camp Halfblood...in this book we visit the counterpart Roman camp, Camp Jupiter. In t...
