I think I’ve mentioned before that I’ve been best friends with my friend Kim for over 17 years. Well, today her oldest turned 16 years old, and all I could think about was what my life was like when I was that age. What were my dreams? What did I want to be when I grew up? I also realized that he has his whole life in front of him. He’s a very smart (straight A) student and wants to attend Duke University and major in Engineering. And in my heart of hearts, I know he’ll succeed.

His birthday also made me think about where I want to be in my life in the next 5, 10, 15 years. Will I have accomplished my dream of becoming a published (New York) author? Will the desire still be there? After all, one third of my life has already passed. What about you, where do you want to be in 10 years?

Today’s getting to know you question. If you were the eighth dwarf, what would your name be?

My answer – Lusty! LOL

Now that I am in my 36th week of pregnancy I would probably answer to Waddles. I feel so huge.

I would be…

Contented.

Life is either where I want it to be, or on the right road to get me there right now.

Maybe Pollyanna would be appropriate… :)

Loved...loved...loved. Now...since she's finally dealt with the demons of both her parents...if she'd only get pregnant!!! I would really love to see how she combines being the bad-a@@-cop she is with motherhood.

This was my first Patricia Cornwell novel and I really enjoyed. Her relationship with her niece was great. Great story and plot. Can't wait to read the next one.

So awesome to be in Percy's head again! Once again Rick Riordan took me away to the awesome world of Roman/Greek mythology via his demigods. Instead of Camp Halfblood...in this book we visit the counterpart Roman camp, Camp Jupiter. In t...
