Sheryl from Ecataromance gave One Week Stand 4 Stars!!!

A sinful delight, One Week Stand takes the reader on a ride through passion and leaves them gasping for more. I loved reading about all of these characters, they seemed larger than life and so real that I expected to look around me and see them. I fell in love with Evan and Jasmine...

Isn*t that great! Click here to read all of the review.

Well, on a personal note I signed both my girls up for Karate today. We finished the complimentary lessons last week and they enjoyed themselves so much, we decided to go ahead and sign them up. Because my hubby is a police officer, we got 20 percent off the join up fee and the monthly fee, which was great. It ended up being much cheaper than I thought it would be…which is good. Karate is supposed to build self-confidence and self-esteem, plus teach them discipline and help them learn how to protect themselves. In the world these days, girls need that. So, I hope it helps.

I was swamped today at work so I didn’t get to get any writing done. Then, we had to rush home and do homework and get ready for class. After we got home, I had to cook and get all the little people bathed and ready for bed. So, as I sit here at ten o’clock, I*m about as pooped as I can be. I*m off for a shower and bed.

Oh… went to Barnes and Noble today and spent waaayyyy too much money on books, but I couldn’t help myself. And I still didn’t get one of the books I wanted because for the life of me, I couldn’t remember the author*s name. Now, I HAVE to go back and get it. Right? LOL I hope you all had a great and blessed day.

Smooches, Lyric

I would love to sign my girls up for Karate too. I think the world we live in, you have to learn to protect yourselves and yes I’ve also heard it’s good for self-esteem and confidence.

I am the same, spend too much money on books, lol..but it’s my way of relaxing and leaving the realities of the world behind. BTW, good review.

That’s wonderful about your kids and karate. I did Tae Kwon Do for a few years, and it IS great! You’re kids will get a confidence and self esteem that’s priceless :)

My memory is like that sometimes. It’ll elude you when you try really hard and then out of the blue, it’ll come to you.
